Feeling your way into your ‘To Do’ list

There’s a chance that you start your day with a ‘to do’ list, & possibly, that as you cross things off, you remember other things &, so as not to forget them, you add them to the bottom of the list.

Now, this begins to resemble an unrealistic project – a little like beginning an exercise regime, a diet or similar. The list looks more exhausting (& less achievable) every time you refer to it. Also, you’re building a sense that the world will be a different place if you achieve it all… rather than accepting these projects/to do lists are a daily thing!

So… try an idea from Danielle LaPorteFEEL your way into your start to the day (or anytime!) Consider instead, how you want to feel during the day, at the end of the day… & make your list accordingly. You’ll also find you keep in mind the quality you’re looking for whilst powering through (or not) your list/new habits.

I often find myself stressed & overwhelmed at the endless list of tasks I’d ideally like to get through each day… When I follow this approach, it lifts any pressure & reminds me of the ultimate purpose behind my days & tasks – remember to enjoy life whilst being productive!

I urge you to give it a go, then let me know how you get on.
